Why Stretch and Mobility?

Physical therapists and personal trainers universally agree that alignment, posture and mobility are the cornerstones of an effective fitness regimen. Incorporating stretching and mobility exercises into your routine can:

  • Improve alignment and posture.
  • Expand your functional range of motion.
  • Elevate your exercise performance.
  • Bring you closer to your fitness goals.

Make a commitment to integrate stretching and mobility exercises into your weekly fitness routine and reap the numerous benefits.

How Often Should You Attend?

According to the American College of Sports Medicine, engaging in stretching and mobility exercises 2-3 times a week is ideal. However, even attending once a week is better than not at all, especially when combined with other forms of physical activity.

Pregnancy and the Class:

If you’re pregnant, we understand the importance of maintaining flexibility and feeling good. However, please note that this class is not designed for expectant mothers, as some movements may require a supine position, which is not recommended during pregnancy. We recommend considering one-on-one sessions or specialized pregnancy classes designed with your needs in mind.

Post-ACL Surgery:

If you’ve undergone ACL surgery within the last 3 – 6 months, you can join our class with your doctor’s full support. We’ll work with you to ensure a safe and effective experience tailored to your recovery journey.

Join us for a Stretching and Mobility Class that will elevate your physical well-being and bring freedom of movement back into your life.
